I am natural born photographer.
I've known that, since I held a professional camera for the first time in my life, back in 1985, when I started off as a photo reporter in newspapers. I'll never forget the feeling. Something between awe, anticipation, terror, freedom. Made me paralysed, made me creative.
I'm immensely grateful for those 12 years as a photo reporter. I've seen beauty and chaos, happiness and tragedy, celebration and sadness. It's all out there. And it was there, for me, to frame in a picture.
It all changed my photographic eye, forever.
For 20 years now, I run my own studio. And, although many years have past since that first day, I still get the same feeling. Every single time I'm about to shoot. It's the feeling that makes me good at what I do. It's what keeps me going. It's what makes me happy.
And I'd love to be happy, for you.
